Deal
Players cut cards, and the player with the highest rank becomes the dealer (Fig. 2). Each player is dealt seven cards.
Figure 2
Play
At the start of the game, four cards are turned face up from the central draw pile to the foundation piles located at the top, bottom, left, and right (Fig. 3). The four corners are called corner piles. The game begins with the forehand, and turns proceed clockwise. At the beginning of each player's turn, they draw one card from the draw pile.
Figure 3
During their turn, a player can perform the following actions:
  1. Place a card from their hand onto a foundation pile or a corner pile. In this case, the card can only be placed if it is one rank lower and of a different color than the top card of the pile. If a foundation pile is empty, any card except a King can be placed. If a corner pile is empty, only a King can be placed.
  2. Move an entire pile from one foundation pile to another foundation pile or to a corner pile if the ranks and colors connect correctly.
  3. If the player cannot perform any of the above actions, they press the Pass button in the center to pass their turn to the next player.
Players repeat these actions to reduce the number of cards in their hands. Figures 4 and 5 provide examples of card movements.

End of the Deal
